SOCIETY – [In the pretext of making sense about everything that’s around us] decided that fixed templates should be created & everyone should fit in that – And the ones that don’t fit would be forced to change themselves, & if they don’t change they would be isolated.
No one obviously, wanted to be isolated & hence began a rush to fit in those rigid templates. At the gate of the templates, stood SHOULDS & MUSTS & they asked the crowd to leave their individuality & authenticity behind, for there was no place for uniqueness there.
When people tried to drop their authenticity, it caused pain, sadness, & dissatisfaction. They were torn apart between being accepted by all & their unique identity. A painful sight indeed!!!
They ultimately did shun some authenticity but couldn’t shun them all, so they hid it somewhere in their personality where the SHOULDS & MUSTS couldn’t detect them.
But authenticity was bold & couldn’t stay hidden for long; it kept popping out & people kept muting it, coz by now, the seeds of the fear of being judged as different, were already sown into them.
For those who are yet guarded by the SHOULDS & MUSTS, I have a message that’s filled with love & acceptance from those who refused to enter the templates. Here it is:
The SOCIETY shields itself with rigid rules
For it, itself is very weak
But if you persistently stand by your authenticity
Soon for you the rules of the society will tweak
